The adult Bible studies have a variety of curriculum ranging from the Bible Book Commentary Series from Lifeway to the Formation Series from Smyth and Helwys publishers. From time to time, some of our classes do book studies to enhance their knowledge of important life issues. Also in the adult department, we have women’s classes, men’s classes, and co-ed classes. We believe that Bible study is important as we grow as a community of believers. Bible study helps us reach out to the community to share God’s love and truth with our world.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Bible study classes meet at 9:00am on Sunday mornings.
BYKOTA Class
Be Ye Kind One To Another (Ephesians 4:32) We are a group of mature ladies who enjoy learning, serving and fellowshipping together. Visiting and caring for members who are homebound is one way we serve our Lord by being true to our class name. Likewise, our homebound members contribute greatly through their prayers and encouragement. We use the lecture method of teaching while encouraging discussion to enhance our understanding of the scriptures. Currently, we are using the Explore the Bible series, a guide to expository learning.

Living Stones Class
We are a friendly, supportive class of mature adults who would welcome new members to our class. We believe in studying God’s word and the power of prayer. We pray for each other regularly. We also pray for our church and community on a regular basis.

Refuel Class
Our class encompasses young adults who are striving to make mature followers of Jesus Christ so that our church can continue to be a viable and growing part of the southeast Guilford community now and in the future. Come and join us as we study people in the Bible and discuss how their lives relate to our lives today and how they dealt with similar situations. The discussion that takes place in this class is unsurpassable!
